David Leigh Apperley

David Leigh Apperley, the driving force behind Broadway Rocks as both Production Director and lead vocalist, started his musical journey early in life with piano lessons during his school years. His love for music grew as he pursued formal training in performing arts in London.

During his time in London, David's talent and hard work were clear to see as he performed in well-known productions. He showed off his skills on the nationally known stage of "Britain's Got Talent," captivating audiences with his charm and strong vocals. He continued performing with a university placement role in a production of the musical "We Will Rock You," where he got involved in the world of Queen's famous music. David's stage presence went beyond the mainstream, as he also took part in various off-West End shows, including West End Live 2012, further developing his skills and expanding his repertoire.

David's desire for new experiences and musical exploration led him to travel internationally. He spent several years abroad, getting involved in different cultures and music scenes. From the busy streets of Bangkok and Singapore to the beautiful beaches of Bali, Ayia Napa, Salou, and Tenerife, David took on the role of DJ, entertainer, and singer. He entertained crowds in exciting clubs, beachside spots, and resorts, making a lasting impression wherever he performed.

When he came back to the UK, David's entrepreneurial spirit took off. Using his wealth of experience and constant passion for music, he started his own production company “David Leigh Productions Limited”. Broadway Rocks is the company's first production, a testament to David's vision and commitment. With his diverse background in performance, production, and entertainment, David put his heart and soul into this new project, making sure that Broadway Rocks would be a huge success.
